USA Eat Fit
         

USA Eat Fit course, comprised of 8 on-line modules. Once registered for the course, users have access to each of the 8 modules, but they must be taken in the order in which they are presented. Each module can be completed in just 20-30 minutes.

Module 1: Getting started
Module 2: The truth about carbohydrates
Module 3: Clearing up any confusion about fat
Module 4: How much protein is enough?
Module 5: The role of vitamins and minerals in our diet
Module 6: Food label: How to use the food label
Module 7: The importance of exercise
Module 8: Readiness for change

Ask the dietitian: an opportunity to email your nutrition questions to a registered dietitian

Registering for USA Eat Fit also gives you access to a USA Eat Fit nutritionist to whom you can address questions or from whom you can seek advice about incorporating better nutrition into your diet. Simply click on “Ask the Dietitian” button in the USA Eat Fit program.

Think of it as having your own personal dietitian or nutrition coach at your fingertips! You can ask for advice on how to better plan your meals, feed your child or general nutrition questions.

To send a question to the dietitian, log into the USA Eat Fit course, click on “Ask the Dietitian” on the top of the page, enter your question and click “Send as Mail”. You will get a response within one business day.

Goal Management In each module, you will have an opportunity to set goals for yourself. You can have these emailed to you on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, depending on how you answer that question when you register for the course. Use this feature to remind yourself what it is you hope to accomplish.
